PERUVIAN CUISINE PAVILION

· COMMERCIAL

· 2018

The pavilion project has a reference to the cultural heritage of the region. The main source of inspiration was the geoglyphs of Nazca civilization. According to one version, these drawings were used as ritual ways. Following the lines, people performed rituals, believing that they would give them a good harvest. These symbols are directly related to the culture of food, which makes them relevant in the design of the restaurant.

In the process of adaptation of the environment, mankind divided it into external and internal.
This project is an attempt to change the perception of these two polarities. Transferring elements that at first glance exist only in the external environment, into the internal environment, you can achieve blurring of the boundaries of space.
There are a number of analogues of similar solutions in the form of art installations, but unlike them, this concept has a practical function.
Also it is possible to perceive this project in a different way - as the conservation of a unique part of the external environment.
